(CNSNews.com) – A coalition of legislators and civil rights groups say the National Park Service needs to focus on increasing inclusion on public lands, including possibly changing the “threatening” uniforms of Park Rangers.

“What we’re calling for is drastic, very scary change,” Maite Arce of the Hispanic Access Foundation said at a press conference Thursday.

Well, one cannot fix stupid. Do park rangers uniforms look too much like those of the Border Patrol? Can’t say one way or another and even if they did, what of it? Are all individuals of hispanic descent scared of the Border Patrol? I rather doubt it. But even if they have fears of being singled out as possible illegal immigrants they are unlikely to experience anything more than inconvenienced.

The problem with the politics of “inclusion” is that it is contrary to rule of law. We elect representatives to represent us in the law making arena. In turn, we are taxed for services provided by our government and its various offices and departments. If we add advisory councils please not that they lack the force of administrative law, for they exist only to give advice and nothing more. On the other hand if what is wanted by those who clamor for “Inclusion” is to assist, change, or otherwise interfere in the various duties then we run the risk of mob rule. Of course those who are here in this country illegally, meaning they have no visa or have overstayed they visa time limit have no claim to inclusion for they are not citizens and as such may not advance such claims. It’s not called rule of law for nothing.
