Warns of ‘demonic’ threat to society

cardinal_robert_sarah

Perhaps it takes someone on the outside looking in to accurately diagnose the spiritual state of America.

That’s what Cardinal Robert Sarah, a native of the West African nation of Guinea, did Tuesday at the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C., reported Catholic News Agency.

“God is being eroded, eclipsed, liquidated … “in the name of ‘tolerance’” in the U.S., he said, citing “legalization of same-sex marriage, the obligation to accept contraception within health-care programs, and even ‘bathroom bills’ that allow men to use the women’s restrooms and locker rooms.”

“Should not a biological man use the men’s restroom?” he asked. “How simpler can that concept be?”

The cardinal shifted his focus from the social and political realm to the church itself, warning against subversion of its orthodoxy and “demonic ‘gender ideology’” that threatens to wound the family unit itself.

Sadly, the RCC itself is more akin to this erosion, than the Cardinal realizes, certainly so-called “Francis” and his Jesuit theology!

I just read the article Pope Francis history’s ‘final’ pontiff? The first paragraph states: “An author who predicted Pope Benedict XVI would be the first pontiff in nearly 600 years to resign believes the election today of Jorge Mario Bergoglio as the 266th Roman Catholic pontiff lines up with a medieval prophecy that would make him the “final pope” before the End Times.” What’s your take on that?

This is the so-called prophecy of the Irish St. Malachy, who knows? But, one thing is biblically and theologically certain, “Francis” is a liberal theolog, and not much of a true pastor in my opinion! And I was raised Irish Catholic and somewhat early educated there. But, I left “Catholcism” in the 70’s!

Btw, let me quote from the Roman Catholic Cathechism (CCC, 1994 / 1997) … “Before Christ’s second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers. The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth will unveil the “mystery of iniquity” in the form of a religious deception offering men and apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth. The supreme religious deception is that of the Antichrist, a pseudo-messianism by which man glorifies himself in place of God and his Messiah come in the flesh.” (Page 176)

YOU be the judge, of course before your open Bible! And yes, there have and are some true believers in Christ in the RCC, but sadly many are just not biblically literate enough to get out!

And speaking for myself, I do NOT consider “Francis” or any other pope, i.e. the “Papacy” in the true place of Peter! Sadly the “papacy” has often been anti-Christian in many places & times, and even today!

Talking to family members they all agree that biblical prophecy is being fulfilled (false prophet).

Amen! I too consider so-called today’s pope Francis to be an untrue Christian (biblically and theologically), and in the prophetic sense a false prophet. And who knows, he may just be the last pope? But as I have said over and over, this is the time of Gentile Apostasy from historic Christianity! (Rom. 11: 25 / Luke 21: 24-33, etc. / 2 Tim. 3: 3-13 ; chap. 4: 3-4).
