Sinister ‘Plague Doctor’ stalking city streets baffles and terrifies locals – but who is it?

A mysterious hooded figure has been spotted stalking a city’s streets for months – but nobody seems any the wiser about who it could be.
Dubbed ‘the Plague Doctor’, the eerie figure has been seen numerous times all over Chester, in Cheshire, usually at night.
Whoever it is doesn’t speak or make a sound, and simply wanders the streets silently, reports the Chronicle.
They have caused quite the stir in Chester, as many people have taken to social media to ask who might be behind the cloak.

Eerie footage has been captured of a mysterious ‘plague doctor’ stalking a city’s streets at night.
A silent video shows the figure standing on what looks like a section of the Chester’s walls, overlooking the River Dee.
He looks across the river before turning in the opposite direction and heading off to roam around the walls.

The mystery behind an eerie Plague Doctor seen walking the streets of Chester has finally been revealed.
Heritage and archaeology company Big Heritage have confessed that the recent sightings of the mystery hooded figure is connected to a secret project the firm are launching this summer.
The exact details are still being kept under wraps however, they promise it will be one of Chester city centre’s first new visitor attractions for years.
