Here is the FDR Quote about Robert E. Lee That Liberals Never Wanted You to See

By Thomas | 17 Aug 2017

Robert E. Lee monuments are being vandalized and removed across the country. After Charlottesville, the hate directed at Lee has reached an extreme level. If you don’t want these statues removed, you will be called a racist.

One such statue that will likely be removed is in Dallas, Texas. Activists believe it’s a “sign of enduring legacy of white supremacy in the South and across America,” according to a local television network.

Lee thought slavery was a great evil and he worked to reunite America after the Civil War.

Who started this crap?

‘Ze, zem and zyr’ — today’s language insanity
By Linda Harvey | 4 October 2016

funny-demotivation-p-126

“Ze walks with me and ze talks with me, and ze tells me I am zyr own …”

Welcome to favorite hymns as they might be revised by Princeton, the University of Michigan and the diabolical American left.

Who knew the power of pronouns? At first glance, they seem innocuous.

But when oppression begins to supplant authentic justice, one of the first symptoms is the breakdown of ordinary language. George Orwell warned us; now America stinks from the rotten rhetorical fruit of decaying, toxic values.

It’s heartbreaking to say, but the smell of death surrounds us.

From “negative rhetoric about Islam,” and accusations of “hate speech” against homosexuality, revealing reality is the current great offense. New meanings for old terms have become the weapons to deliver fake justice and the rallying cries to rationalize sexual license, lawlessness, theft, revenge – you name it.

Feminists advocate the “reproductive rights” of other women to kill their children. “Sexual orientation” is the civilized policy term for men who prefer anal sex with other men, or women whose idea of a grand sexual experience involves plastic penises with other women instead of real male organs with real males.

And if you object, you are the problem. Increasingly your fair-minded, virtue-seeking, justice-exalting Christian life is probably expendable. Does the future include Planned Parenthood-type clinics for conservative believers? Will we be escorted to enter such “clinics” and never exit?

Is there a polite term for “Auschwitz”?

Oh, surely you are exaggerating, some will protest. After all, many recent examples seem on the surface to be just more left-wing silliness.

Smashing Pumpkins Singer Smashes Social Justice Warriors

From Truth Revolt
5.19.2016 | Sarah Fisher

“We live in a world where one word could destroy your life but it’s OK to, if you’re a social-justice warrior, spit in somebody’s face.”

Former lead singer Billy Corgan of the 90s grunge band Smashing Pumpkins ripped into the Social Justice Warrior movement in a recent interview.

The singer explained,

“When I watch some of the clips … of some of these protests, I have no respect for what these people are doing,…They’re shutting down free speech. … I just don’t get it. To me it’s antithetical to the society that I believe in. But I try to listen to their argument… The tactics in the social-justice warrior movement are to stifle and shut down free speech,” he said. “And I would argue in the world that I live in, which is the bareknuckle world, they’re leveraging their position because they don’t have power.”

Corgan astutely observed how the simple “wrong” use of a word, could ruin his career:

A female security guard has been arrested and is being accused of a so-called “hate crime” after she physically escorted a man out of a women’s restroom in a Washington, D.C., grocery store.

The young black man, identified as Ebony Belcher, refused to leave the Giant grocery store because he said he identifies as a woman, the Daily Caller reported.

When she saw Belcher enter the ladies’ room, the security guard ordered him to leave. He refused, and she physically escorted him out.

After Belcher was removed, he called police to have the security guard arrested, according to the report.

D.C. police told NBC-4 that the security guard was arrested and charged with assault. They told the Daily Caller they’re treating the incident as a “suspected hate crime.”

Sign the petition demanding an end to the madness! No men in girls’ bathrooms, locker rooms or showers! Just say no!

Belcher claimed the security guard told him, “You guys cannot keep coming in here and using our women’s restroom. They did not pass the law yet.”

He claimed he was emotionally traumatized by the security guard’s actions.

“[T]he woman had no reason to put her hands on me,” Belcher told WJLA-TV 7. “I’m hurt by this. It’s terrible. … I’m distraught. People should not be discriminated [against] based on their gender identity.”

But a female shopper was thankful for the security guard’s efforts to safeguard the privacy of women in the restroom.

How The Transgender Pronoun Mandate Makes Teaching More Dangerous

From The Federalist
By M.G. Oprea | May 19, 2016

For a teacher, every day is a day you could lose your job because you said the wrong thing accidentally. The new federal transgender ‘guidelines’ make that worse.

trans

Among the Obama’s administration’s guidelines released last week for how to treat transgender students, teachers and staff are instructed to refer to each boy or girl as “he” or “she” depending on the child’s gender identity, not his or her biology. Not to be outdone, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is taking it one step further, pledging to fine businesses that don’t use a person’s preferred pronoun.

This effort to control the way we use language is central to the task of shifting how we think about transgenderism and forcing the acceptance of what some think is a mental disorder, not a true reality. But it also throws new obstacles into the path of teachers, who already have to navigate around accusations of political incorrectness and micro-aggressions.

According to the administration’s guidelines, schools aren’t allowed to require students to undergo a medical diagnosis, receive medical treatment, or produce a birth certificate before acquiescing to a student’s request (or the parents’ request on the child’s behalf) that they be referred to by a given pronoun (he or she, for example).

What A Social Mess

So, what would be required? It’s not clear if students would have to go through some bureaucratic process to request the change, or whether that would be considered a violation of their civil rights. Perhaps students simply have to tell their teacher what pronoun to use, but again this seems like it could be “triggering” for the student. Or maybe the teacher is just supposed to figure it out. But this too is fraught with problems. How does a teacher determine how a 5-, 10-, or 15-year-old gender-identifies?

The Totalitarian Doctrine of ‘Social Justice Warriors’

From Observer
By Cathy Young • 02/02/16 10:00am

Much of SJW’s passion goes into speech and culture policing directed at victimless crimes that violate their moral taboos

The modern social justice movement, or the new “political correctness,” vaulted into the spotlight last year.  Student protests swept across campuses with demands often focused on purging thoughtcrime—leading to heated debates on whether this movement is a dangerous pseudo-progressive authoritarianism or a long-overdue effort to achieve justice for all. A year-in-review piece in The Daily Dot in late December proclaimed 2015 “the year of the social justice warrior.”

The Daily Dot author, graduate student and political columnist Michael Rosa, hailed this trend and urged liberals to “embrace the term.” Yet the accomplishments he invoked are, as the social justice crowd likes to say, problematic. His Exhibit A, the legalization of same-sex marriage, actually had very little to do with the current social justice movement; it was the result of two decades of very different, pragmatic activism that focused on a clear goal—the legal right to marry—and stressed equality, not gay identity. And #BlackLivesMatter, also a movement with a specific focus—police violence toward African-Americans—has been arguably hurt, not helped, by PC dogma that suppresses discussion of thorny issues such as black-on-black crime and attacks “insensitive” dissenting speech (Amherst protesters demanded disciplinary action against students who had put up “All Lives Matter” posters).

This Christian Doctrine Is Now a ‘Hate Crime’ Under Police Investigation

From PJ Media
By Tyler O’Neil | April 28, 2016

Earlier this month, an employee at a Catholic university committed a devastating hate crime. A student accused her of denying her “existence” because she adhered to a traditional Christian doctrine: that human beings are male and female. The police are investigating this horrific injustice, according to Loyola Marymount University’s Orwellian-named Bias Incident Response Team.

There are contradictory reports on what happened, but both sides agree that the offending employee (who will remain nameless) expressed the Christian doctrine — and general commonsense principle — that people are either men or women. This idea has become the hate crime “denying transgenderism.” Cosette Carleo, a student involved in the incident, said “you can have your opinion,” so long as it doesn’t “deny my existence.”

Corleo identifies as “gender-neutral,” and seems to believe it a personal attack for anyone to state the obvious biological fact that 99 percent of human beings either have two X chromosomes or one X and one Y, thus designating them male or female. According to the new reigning ideology on even a Roman Catholic campus, gender is a social construct unconnected with biological sex, and denying this is tantamount to heresy.

Unfortunately, orthodox Christians have no choice but to reject this new view of gender. As Genesis 1:27 clearly states, “God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” But Jesus goes even further. In Matthew 19:4, he says, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female’?”

Who would have guessed that this statement would be controversial? That it would be considered a “hate crime” is utterly unthinkable. And at a Roman Catholic university, no less — despite the fact that Catholic doctrine is just as uncompromising as Jesus on the whole created-male-and-female thing. Nevertheless, Jesus has some excellent advice for such situations in John 15:18, “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.”
