A manhunt is underway for an Afghan-born U.S. citizen suspected of plotting three bombings in New York and New Jersey over the weekend.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of 28-year-old Ahmad Khan Rahami are being asked to contact police immediately. He should not be approached, as he is considered armed and dangerous.

The Saturday bombings in Manhattan and Seaside Park, New Jersey, as well as the attempted bombing of the Elizabeth, New Jersey train station have authorities believing there may be a terror cell active in the area.

The idea has the law enforcement community on edge as New York City prepares to host delegates from around the world at the United Nations General Assembly this week.

According to the FBI’s wanted poster, Rahami is a naturalized U.S. citizen who was born in Afghanistan. He is about 5’6″ tall and weighs about 200 pounds, with brown hair, eyes and facial hair.

‘We need to get this guy in right away,’ New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said on CNN. ‘My experience is one the FBI zeroes in on someone, they will get them.’

The FBI also revealed that Rahami’s last known residence was in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where five pipe bombs were found at the town’s train station on Sunday.

FBI agents conducted a raid of the apartment Monday morning, which is located above a fried chicken restaurant his family owns.

This is the man said to be responsible for the stabbing of nine people in Minnesota in an attack that ISIS has claimed responsibility for.

Dahir A. Adan, 22, who was identified by his father to the Minnesota Star Tribune, was said to be a ‘soldier of the Islamic state’, according to an ISIS-linked news agency.

A black and white photo from Adan’s Facebook and reported by local media put a face to the name for the first time since Saturday night’s attack.

Adan immigrated to the United States from Africa, according to his father, and is of Somali descent.

His father, Ahmed Adan, said Adan was born in Mombasa, Kenya, but did not say where the family immigrated from.

Five people have been taken into custody in connection with the Chelsea bombing after the FBI discovered a bomb cache in New Jersey and stopped a car near New York City’s Verrazano Bridge on Sunday night.

The FBI is believed to have called the NYPD for backup at around 8.45pm after making the decision to halt a car on the busy Belt Parkway and found the occupants were heavily armed.

No one has been charged with any crime and the investigation is continuing says the FBI who confirmed all five individuals are from New Jersey.

According to the New York Daily News, law enforcement later discovered three pipe bombs and two smaller devices at a train station in Elizabeth, New Jersey, near to Newark Liberty International Airport.

According to Elizabeth Mayor Christian Bollwage, two unidentified men found a package in a trash bin around 9.30pm and decided to take it because they ‘thought it was of some value’.

When they saw wires and the pipe they dropped it and called Elizabeth Police.

Police deployed a robot to examine the device which Bollwage described as a ‘possible live bomb’ and are currently on scene.

All train traffic out of Manhattan to New Jersey was immediately halted while the bomb squad was dispatched.

State Sen. Martin Golden said the incident is connected to what happened in Chelsea and the FBI later confirmed that it was.

There Have Been Over 100 Hate Crime Hoaxes In The Past Decade

fake hate crime

Victimhood is profitable. On the internet, it can get you thousands of dollars in crowdfunding donations. In the media, it can win you national prominence and a cooing audience of credulous sycophants. On campus, it can get you attention and plaudits from fellow grievance-mongers.

Convince enough people you’re a victim, and everyone from presidential candidates to celebrities will come rushing to support you.

So it’s little wonder that charlatans and opportunists regularly seek to take advantage of our species’ natural instinct for empathy. False flags, in which people deliberately stage attacks on themselves to win the support of society, are as old as history itself.

That isn’t an exaggeration, by the way. They’re really as old as history itself. The ancient Greek historian Herodotus once recalled how Peisistratos, a man who would become the dictator of Athens, staged a fake attack on himself to gain the support of the city:

Wounding himself and his mules, he drove his wagon into the marketplace, with a story that he had escaped from his enemies, who would have killed him (so he said) as he was driving into the country. So he implored the people to give him a guard. Taken in, the Athenian people gave him a guard of chosen citizens … These rose with Peisistratos and took the Acropolis; and Peisistratos ruled the Athenians.
