George Soros

New York hedge fund manager George Soros is one of the most politically powerful individuals on earth. Since the mid-1980s in particular, he has used his immense influence to help reconfigure the political landscapes of several countries around the world—in some cases playing a key role in toppling regimes that had held the reins of government for years, even decades. Vis à vis the United States, a strong case can be made for the claim that Soros today affects American politics and culture more profoundly that any other living person.

Much of Soros’s influence derives from his $13 billion personal fortune,¹ which is further leveraged by at least another $25 billion in investor assets controlled by his firm, Soros Fund Management.² An equally significant source of Soros’s power, however, is his passionate messianic zeal. Soros views himself as a missionary with something of a divine mandate to transform the world and its institutions into something better—as he sees it.

George Soros gives $6 million for Hillary PAC

George Soros, billionaire investor, kicked in a quick $6 million for one of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s super PACs, suggesting through a spokesperson he’s always liked how accessible the former secretary of state has proven for him.

On CBS This Morning she said that “anyone who knows me knows that I am not in the pocket of anyone”. Her statement immediately caused the CBS panel to break into laughter while she was still speaking. Funnier still is the fact that last month she and her super-PAC happily accepted $6 million from former Nazi collaborator George Soros. Hmm, not in anyone’s pocket, eh?

 

Soros Money, Muslim Advocates Leader, Helped Weaken Homeland Security Policies

And how Americans may have lost their lives as a result.

A Muslim legal group, girded with $1.8 million in grant money from George Soros’s Open Society Foundations (OSF), has helped influence major policy changes in the war on terror, including the Department of Homeland Security’s screening of individuals with suspected terror ties and the FBI’s training program for its agents working in counterterrorism.

Internal records, made public by the hacking group DC Leaks, show OSF spent $40 million between 2008 and 2010 on programs aimed at weakening U.S. counterterrorism policy.

Muslim Advocates’ Executive Director Farhana Khera played a key role in shaping the foundations’ spending. Khera co-authored a 2007 memo that “informed” the foundations’ U.S. Programs Board’s decision to create the National Security and Human Rights Campaign (NSHRC), a Sept. 14, 2010 OSF document discussing the program’s reauthorization, shows.

The NSHRC’s goals included:

• Closing Guantanamo Bay, eliminating torture and methods such as the extraordinary rendition of prisoners, and ending the use of secret prisons;
• Ending warrantless and “unchecked” surveillance;
• Ensuring that anti-terrorism laws and law enforcement activities do not target freedom of speech, association or religious expression;
• Reducing ethnic and religious profiling of people of Muslim, Arab or South Asian extraction;
• Decreasing secrecy and increasing oversight of executive actions, and expose U.S. government or private individuals who abuse or violate the law.

Some of these policies, such as closing Guantanamo and ending enhanced interrogation techniques, already were also advocated by Obama administration. OSF claimed its work laid the groundwork for implementing those policies. The Edward Snowden leaks cast light on the depth of the government’s warrantless surveillance activity. The other goals are more difficult to assess.

Muslim Advocates was founded in 2005 as an offshoot of the National Association of Muslim Lawyers. It often criticizes U.S. counterterrorism strategies that use sting operations and informants as discriminatory.

Papers released by the anonymous hacker group DC Leaks show that OSF budgeted $21 million for the NSHRC from 2008-2010. OSF spent an additional $1.5 million in 2010. The NSHRC also received a matching $20 million contribution from Atlantic Philanthropies, a private foundation established in 1982 by Irish-American Chuck Feeney billionaire businessman.

OSF made 105 grants totaling $20,052, 784 to 63 organizations under the NSHRC program. An Investigative Project on Terrorism tally shows Muslim Advocates received at least $1.84 million in OSF grants between 2008 and 2015.

Civil-rights complaint seeks hundreds of millions of dollars

 
Liberal-cause financier George Soros and a multitude of other defendants have been added to a lawsuit that originally accused Barack Obama, Louis Farrakhan, Eric Holder, Al Sharpton and others of inciting their supporters “to engage in threats of and attacks to cause serious bodily injury or death upon police officers, Jews and Caucasians.”

Filed by activist lawyer Larry Klayman of Freedom Watch in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas following the sniper attack on police officers in Dallas in which five died and seven more were injured, it seeks an injunction to halt the statements and more that are “inciting and causing serious bodily injury or death to police officers and other law enforcement persons of all races and ethnicities” as well as others.

“This is a civil action for the deprivation of plaintiffs and other members of the class herein of their civil rights, conspiracy against plaintiffs and other members of the class herein,” the complaint explains.

“We are asking the court to enter an injunction … to cease and desist from making these kinds of statements, inciting people to be killed,” Klayman told WND.

“It’s like yelling fire in a crowded theater only a million times worse,” he said.

Violators should end up with a citation of criminal contempt and jail time, he said.

Klayman added Demetrick Pennie, a sergeant with the Dallas Police Department to his own name as plaintiff. He represents “himself and other law enforcement officers deceased or alive similarly situated,” the complaint explains.

The defendants now include Farrakhan, the Nation of Islam, Al Sharpton, the National Action Network, Black Lives Matter, Rasha Turner, Opal Tometic, Patrisee Cullors, Alicia Garza, Deray McKesson, Johnetta Elzie, Malik Zulu Shabazz, Soros, Obama, Eric Holder and Hillary Clinton.

Police said seven white men were walking when they were approached by five black men and two white men, shouting, “Black lives matter.”
The suspects started hitting them with bottles, punching and kicking the victims. One victim fell to the ground and was kicked in the head several times before losing consciousness. The suspects then took the victims’ belongings before running off.

Black woman arrested after declaring ‘open season on crackas’
A Georgia woman has been arrested after she allegedly produced a series of videos advocating for the murder of white people and police officers.
On Thursday, the FBI and U.S. Marshals assisted Clayton County officers and deputies in arresting Latausha Naomi Nedd, who went by the name “Eye Empress Sekhmet” online.
“I say let’s have a take a gun day, and start walking up on these untrained (expletive deleted) and stealing their weapons,” Nedd said in one of the videos, WSB reports. She also called for the “take over” of police stations.
The others are “filled with profanity and hatred toward white people,” according to the news station.

No, Jesus was not a socialist

Joseph Farah sees Hillary, Sanders as more akin to Judas Iscariot

A new poll of Americans suggests a quarter of them think Jesus was a socialist.

A survey conducted by the Barna Group and commissioned by the producers of “The Young Messiah,” coming out on DVD in June, found 24 percent believe Jesus’ teachings align more closely with socialism than capitalism. Only 14 percent believe Jesus was a free marketer. The rest, a large majority, said they were either not sure or neither.

Asked which of the presidential candidates’ views were closest to the teachings of Jesus, 21 percent said Bernie Sanders, 11 percent answered Ted Cruz, 9 percent said Hillary Clinton, and 6 percent answered Donald Trump. Again, 22 percent weren’t sure, while 37 percent said none of the above.

One thing I can say with certainty, the 24 percent who think Jesus was/is a socialist probably haven’t actually read the Bible.

If all you know about Jesus is what you’ve heard, I can understand why you might think he was a socialist. After all, He healed the sick and fed the hungry and commanded His followers to do likewise, right?

That’s what socialists do, isn’t it?

Actually, no.

Historically socialists ration government-run health care services and starve their people.

Jesus wasn’t a socialist, but, interestingly, he was betrayed by one.

FBI ‘won’t touch it’ for fear of offending Muslims

Men and women pulling “suitcases full of cash” started showing up at Seattle’s Sea-Tac Airport last year holding tickets for international flights bound for Africa.

Transporting large amounts of cash overseas is perfectly legal. But it was who was carrying the money … and where it was going that caught the attention of law enforcement, according to a report by KING 5, the local NBC affiliate for western Washington.

Those hauling the cash-laden cases were Somali-Americans who’d come to this country as refugees. They routinely send money back to Somalia. And many of the greenbacks headed to the jihadist-infested East African country come from welfare checks the refugees receive from the U.S. government, compliments of American taxpayers.
