Islamization of the West | Islam in Public Schools

If non-Muslim students are expected to go on a field trip to a mosque then Muslim students should be expected to go on a field trip to a church, a synagogue, etc.
If non-Muslim female students are expected to wear a hijab for a day in school then Muslim female students should be expected to go without a hijab for a day in school.
If non-Muslim students are expected to write an essay on their conversion to Islam then Muslim students should be expected to write an essay on their conversion to Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, etc.
If non-Muslim students are expected to learn about Islam in school, then Muslim students should be expected to learn [and equal time given to] Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, etc.
If Muslim students are allowed to pray during school hours then non-Muslim students should be afforded the same opportunities to pray during school if they so choose.
It’s only fair, right?

COMMON CORE: Islamic Indoctrination 101

13 April 2013
The best way to destroy our constitutional republic (along with its sacrosanct tenets and principles) is to indoctrinate our children in the ways of Islam. And, believe it or not–this is already taking place in the form of Common Core.
Common Core is a Leviathan which originated with the “One World Education” idea. The idea is designed to connect all educational systems on a global scale. Thus, in short–creating a singular, world-wide curriculum.

Bakery owners punished with $135,000 fine for refusing to violate Christian faith

Sweet-Cakes

An Oregon state official and his agency violated the U.S. Constitution in multiple ways when they assessed a $135,000 penalty against Sweetcakes by Melissa bakery owners Aaron and Melissa Klein for refusing to violate their Christian faith by creating a wedding cake for a lesbian duo, according to a new appeal filed in the long-running case.

“In America, you’re protected by the Constitution, and you’re also innocent until proven guilty,” said Kelly Shackelford, president of First Liberty Institute, which is working on the Kleins’ case.

Explicit sex ed book causes controversy at Oregon elementary school

This book is approved for children ages 10 and up? WTF? Why is a book like this even allowed in public schools?

From Fox News

A sex education book full of illustrations depicting sexual acts has ignited a controversy after it was left at an Oregon elementary school library, according to a report late Thursday.

The principal at Hudson Park Elementary School in Rainier admitted in a letter to parents Thursday that the book was inappropriately shown to fourth-graders in the library recently, Fox 12 Oregon reported. Angry parents were told the book had been pulled from shelves.

The book in question, “It’s Perfectly Normal,” explains bodies, sex and sexual health, the station reported.

The illustrations in the book include pages of naked teens and adults, some depicting sex acts and even masturbation, the station reported.

Guess How Much Money the Feds Awarded to These Four Failed Obamacare Exchanges

From The Blaze
May. 12, 2014 2:12pm |

Four state-run Obamacare exchanges that have so far cost U.S. taxpayers nearly half a billion dollars now lie in ruins, with the proposed fixes likely to add to their final cost.

Massachusetts, Oregon, Nevada and Maryland, which were quick to embrace the Affordable Care Act, have spent approximately $474 million developing their exchanges, Politico reported.

In their rush to adopt Obamacare, the four states opted to develop their own online marketplaces where residents could sign up for health insurance coverage. But much like the federally run healthcare.gov, the exchange websites in Massachusetts, Oregon, Nevada and Maryland have been plagued with glitches and errors, preventing consumers from enrolling in health insurance plans.

The figure cited by Politico is simply the amount that the four states have already spent on their exchanges: The total amount of money that has so far been directed towards these projects is roughly $746,029,921, the Federalist reported, citing data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

Liberals’ quest to ‘rehabilitate’ Christians

Today’s liberals seek to “rehabilitate” Christians to their way of thinking under penalty of law. Liberals of old just threw us to the lions. I guess that’s what they mean by “progress.”

The homofascist rainbow-shirts are at it again. They’ve unsheathed, once more, their anti-Christian long knives.

Back in April, I wrote the following in a column headlined “Religious freedom and ‘gay marriage’ cannot coexist”: “‘Gay pride’ necessitates anti-Christian hate. It must. ‘Gay marriage’ and other ‘sexual orientation’-based laws do violence to freedom and truth. They are the hammer with which the postmodern left intends to bludgeon bloody religious liberty and the Judeo-Christian sexual ethic.”

Liberals are anything if not predictable.

I Will Not Forsake God or My Beliefs to Cater to Your Immoral Lifestyle

What’s wrong with this country? A person can be refused service for not wearing shoes and a shirt but Christians can’t refuse service to lesbians? It’s really sad that Aaron and Melissa are having to shut down their shop for standing up for what they believe. Unfortunately we’re going to continue seeing incidents like this one where our religious beliefs are attacked and shredded while the ‘rights’ of homosexuals are crammed down our throats. Makes me want to puke.

‘Bible-Thumping…B**ch’: Bakers Who Refused to Make Gay Couple’s Wedding Cake Shut Down Their Shop Following Threats, Anger

Sep. 2, 2013 9:30am   |   By Billy Hallowell

In May, TheBlaze told you about Aaron and Melissa Klein, owners of Sweet Cakes by Melissa, an Oregon-based bakery that has fallen under intense scrutiny. Throughout 2013, the Christian couple and their business have been in the midst of a media firestorm after refusing to make a wedding cake for a lesbian couple.

From threats to vicious phone calls and e-mails, the Klein family has been inundated with angry responses. Now, Aaron and Melissa have announced that they are shutting down their shop.

In a brief phone interview earlier this month, Melissa told TheBlaze that the couple has continued to face upheaval following their faith-based decision. Just days after we spoke, she and her husband announced that this past weekend was the family’s last at its current location.

The business will be transitioning, with the Kleins operating, instead, from their home.

Immigration legislation hurts America’s unemployed

Oregon Senators Jeff Merkley and Ron Wyden joining the Gang of Eight in the passage of Senate Bill 744 (S.744), termed comprehensive immigration reform by some, amnesty by others, is unconscionable legislation considering the United States’ July seasonally adjusted number of 12.1 million unemployed citizens; 7.4 percent of the country’s civilian labor force.

According to the Feb. 1, 2011 Pew Hispanic Center’s “Unauthorized Immigrant Population: National and State Trends, 2010” there are 8 million unauthorized workers in the U.S.

With so many unemployed American citizens looking for jobs and 8 million unauthorized workers currently holding the jobs many citizens will do, the U.S. Senate’s legislation at best seems oblivious to the plight of the unemployed.

Two of the negative consequences of S. 744 are revealed in a June 2013 Congressional…

Man Sentenced to 30 Days in Jail for Collecting Rain Water

From Wake Up Call

Harrington, of Eagle Point, Oregon, has been fighting for his right to do what he wishes with water since 2002. Now more than a decade after he first defended himself over allegations that the man-made ponds on his 170 acres of land violated local law, Harrington has been sentenced to 30 days behind bars and fined over $1,500.

Authorities say that Harrington broke the law by collecting natural rain water and snow runoff that landed on his property. Officials with the Medford Water Commission contested that the water on Harrington’s property, whether or not it came from the sky, was considered a tributary of nearby Crowfoot Creek and thus subject to a 1925 law that gives the MWC full ownership and rights. Therefore prosecutors were able to argue in court — successfully — that three homemade fishing and boating ponds in Harrington’s backyard violated the law.

For filling “three illegal reservoirs” on his property with runoff water, Harrington has been convicted on nine misdemeanor charges in Circuit Court. He says he will attempt to appeal, but as long as the conviction stands to serve 30 days of imprisonment. He has also been sentenced to an additional three years of probation.

Thirty days in jail for catching rainwater?” Harrington tells the Mail Tribune. “We live in an extreme wildfire area and here the government is going to open the valves and really waste all the water right now, at the start of peak fire season.”

“When it comes to the point where a rural landowner can’t catch rainwater that falls on his land to protect his property, it’s gone too far,” he adds to the Associated Press. “This should serve as a dire warning to all pond owners.”
