Arkansas cop disciplined after leaving his sheriff’s dog in a hot car to die

A police dog tragically died after she was left in a hot patrol car by her handler in western Arkansas.
Madison County Sheriff Phillip Morgan says the dog, named Lina, died Friday.

The sheriff says the dog’s handler, Deputy Jonathon Cornelison, was placed on paid administrative leave pending an investigation that’s being conducted by the sheriff’s office in Washington County.
